Went to the second annual New York City Drone Film Festival a few weeks ago. Really beautiful stuff. Got a bit repetitive after five hours, but still amazing. Would definitely go back next year.
At the Science Center we hosted an entire day of drone activities. Basically it was battles and races. People had a blast.
Drone tech is super exciting for a lot of reasons. I feel like it’s all the cool stuff about building robots, with the added coolness of being able to fly. Once drone racing gets more mainstream I could see it becoming as ubiquitous as boxcar racing.
